Public safety is of paramount importance and urgency in cities and communities across the state. The first obligation of any government is the protection of its citizens. House Republicans have led the way in keeping our communities and families safe from those who would do them harm. We have helped improve Minnesota’s public safety by passing laws to strengthen penalties for offenders, including locking up the “worst of the worst” sexual predators for life, shut down meth labs and assist victims.
